And that's how you do it

Guess who is sick of not going on dates? That would be me.

(this is me. wishing I had a date. from a boy.)

So what did I do? I marched right into the bishop's office and told him that boys are dumb DUMB DUUMMMBBBB and that I wanted to go on a date.

Bishop agreed. He said that boys needed to ask me on dates. (yes, bishop, they do) and he and I concocted a plan. We are setting up a dating panel. Yes, a dating panel. We are going to have a night where all the boys and all the girls come and ask each other questions as to why we are not dating each other. Are we to scared? Are we just lazy? WHAT IS THE DEAL GENTLEMAN?

Bishop says that boys are to scared to ask me on dates. What the? What does that even mean? Does it look like I'm going to bite them?

(This could possibly be the reason they are scared. I am looking rather ravishing as of late)

Frankly, I think I will start wearing a neon sign plastered to my forehead that reads "ASK ME ON A DATE. I WILL NOT TURN YOU DOWN." sure, that may seem a little forward? desperate even? At this point, I do not care. I'm ready to go on a date.

Are you too suffering from the lack of dates? My suggestion: get the bish involved people. Honestly he's like the mating master.

...and THAT ladies and gents is how you get yourself a date.

One Day

One day I will date a boy.

One day I will marry said boy.

One day I will hire david perry to film that day.

One day, my man will look at me like this guy  looks at his lover on that day.

And one day, I will love it.

Where has the class gone?

Maybe it's just me, but I have been feeling like "class" or rather being "classy" has gone out of style. In recent facebook posts, media expressions, and just in daily life, I am so saddened by this trend. Yes, if you have an opinion on a matter, you should by all means defend and stick up for that belief or opinion. BUT if it degrades somebody else, or puts others down to prove a point, it is not appropriate. Everyone has an opinion about everything, and though we may not agree on certain issues, we have no right to personally attack the person just because of our differing views.

Let me give you an example. Here is a recent post from facebook. Somebody changed their relationship status to "in a relationship" and this is what followed:

  • Alyssa:  And as far as Jade raising the bar...anyone is a step up from Tyler. So Jade, congrats to you!
  • Kaila:
Shut up Lyssa, you're a fat bi***, you should have just quit while you were ahead.
    3 hours ago ·  ·  1

Alyssa: I'm not fat, I'm chubby and bringing the fat bi*** thing isn't gonna hurt my feelings, I've heard it all before. I was sticking up for Jade.
    3 hours ago ·  ·  3

Kayla: Sticking up for jade? Pretty sure she doesn't need sticking up for from you. She knkws all of us are happy for her, and glad she found someone better than tyler. Go away.
I find it so sad that is this how people act. (mind you, this isn't even the worst of this conversation. It goes on and on and gets cattier and cattier.) Not just in this example, but numerous times I have seen people act this way. I am shocked that not only are these people presenting themselves this way, but they are displaying their actions for the WHOLE world to see.

Where has all the class gone?

Photo Challenge Day dose

Day 2: Picture of your breakfast

Breakfast of the kings right there. A hearty bowl of Pops!

Top 3 reasons I love Pops Cereal:
1. Well, I am just going to pretend that they really pop in your mouth when you chew them. What a magical way to start your morning eh?
2. They are Fiber-licious! No more hard poo poo's! (TMI?)
3. They are sweet enough to be yummy, yet they don't leave that nasty film stuff at the top of your mouth like most sugary cereals.

Let's just say, Pops and I have a really great relationship. It's getting pretty serious.

Photo a day challenge

I Thought this would be a fun idea to add to my blog! I am terrible at taking pictures, so this should help get some camera juices flowin.

Day one: You (or rather me)

Obviously I am no photographer. But everyone loves the "bend over and smile in front of the your mac photo booth shot" right?

right.

Today I am thankful for: The cruise I was able to go on over christmas break. The sunshine was much needed. Plus seeing all the hot black men was definitely a plus.
